Little Farmers Club

The Little Farmers Club is a fun weekly opportunity for kids to engage in our local food system and community through educational activities, demonstrations, stories and exposure to a variety of foods. Kids will connect with community members to learn about building a healthy lifestyle and influencing their local food economy.

How it works:
First week: Please stop by the MCC Tent on Saturday June 15 to register. Kids (3-12 yrs) will receive a membership card and a reusable shopping bag to decorate.
Weekly: Check in at the MCC tent for the day’s activities. Attend the market and participate in the activities listed for a stamp on the membership card. Collect 8 stamps by the end of the season to receive a prize and certificate of completion!

Volunteer Opportunities

The Mundelein Farmers Market welcomes all volunteers. We invite the community ages 13 and up to be a part of this weekly event. If you like the outdoors, especially in the summer; fresh food; live music; and meeting people, the Mundelein Farmers Market is for you! Volunteers pick the dates and times they would like to help. Come one day or all the days of the market. It’s up to you.

We encourage high school students who need service hours to volunteer. The Market Manager will verify your hours.

Please read the Volunteer Guidelines before volunteering.

If you would like to volunteer, email mundeleincc@gmail.com.
