Winter Tree Lighting Festival

Winterfest is a festive community celebration presented by the Village of Mundelein, bringing residents together to kick off the holiday season at Courtland Commons Park. The event features the Village’s traditional Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony along with a variety of family-friendly activities, including Santa’s Cottage, live music and performances, children’s games and crafts, a Kris Kringle Market, ice sculpting, food and hot chocolate, and opportunities to write letters to Santa.

The evening concludes with the lighting of the village holiday tree and a spectacular fireworks display, creating a warm and memorable start to the winter season.
